Live acts:

The Burning Condors:
The Burning Condors have been very busy of late putting the finishing touches to their eagerly awaited debut album as well as radio appearances galore and key showcase gigs. So busy are the band that they will be filming the video for their next single on our beloved Lock Tavern stage so get down to the front and get involved in the action. The Burning Condors second single, a double A-side ‘Knockout’ and ‘Riot in the Streets’, is released on 13th May 2013 through Snakehand Records.
‘Riot in the Streets’ was written in a rehearsal room in Tottenham Hale in 2010, right at the heart of the infamous London riots just as they ignited in the summer of 2011. The track is a live favourite and a prophetic commentary capturing the social unrest and violence that was bubbling under and subsequently exploded to the surface of London's underbelly by the time they had got it down on tape! Scary stuff! The single has received airplay as far afield as U.S. radio.

Their debut single 'Honey Trap' also features a Bonanza & Son hero in the shape of ace harmonica player and frontman extraordinaire JD Wilkes of 'The Legendary Shack Shakers’ and ’The Dirt Daubers’. JD is a massive fan of The Condors and has taken them under his wing giving them support slots, American festival shows and hands-on production help; the stamp of approval indeed from our favourite ‘Kentucky Colonel’.

The Burning Condors have been perfecting their Americana and Rock 'n' Roll 'chops’ so are guaranteed to rip the roof off the Lock Tavern tonight.

+ Harriet Starling & The Good Honeys:
Gorgeous, shimmering, Bluegrass and Old-Timey Music for the modern age… A potent, morphine-like blend of Bluegrass, Swamp Blues and vintage reworkings with voices that will melt and break both your heart and the bank! Intricate guitar and foot stomping mandolin and double bass adds to the Svengali-like seduction and Rasputin-like fever as you rise to your feet dancing, shouting 'God dammit' and singing along. This isn’t just another band playing just another gig it is a 'Wild West Medecine Show' in a Victorian Music Hall with more ways to die than a double cd compilation of Murder Ballads plus the latest Tarantino Revisionist Western put together!
