The week ahead...

Howdy Folks,
We hope this update finds you well…

Just wanna say a big thank you to everyone who turned up or took part in the Josh Rouse surprise gig, The Al Scorch live radio session and/or Countrier Than Thou this past week…

What a superb gaggle of gigs and wow, how we needed this Easter break with which to recover!

Anyway onwards and upwards with an equally exciting week ahead…

… On Wednesday it’s our ResonanceFM radio show at 4:30pm and we have a welcome return of the mad dog of Morocco D-66, albeit in a seemingly less crazy but nonetheless beguiling guise as 'Bo ne'…

Bonanza & Son on ResonanceFM
with Bo ne live in session:

A truly pan-international act descends upon us direct from the sun-parched deserts of North Africa but originally of Danish/German origin via São Paulo Brazil. A Punked-up, Post-Modern version of Electronic-Country-Blues for these recession-ridden times.
+ our usual featurettes including 'Celluloid Country' where we look at a film which features Americana significantly in its soundtrack.
+ the best of all the latest, up-coming Country & Americana releases.

Bonanza & Son on ResonanceFM
‘Tracing the roots and subsequent influence of the pioneers, innovators, outlaws, renegades and mavericks of Country Music & Americana.’
Tune in at 4:30pm on 104.4FM in London or www.resonancefm

Then on Wednesday evening we are honoured to have been asked to take part in ‘Diggers Dozen’, a night of 12 djs playing 12 of their favourite weird-ass, crate-dug tracks all on vinyl, no compilations, no bootlegs... Should be great fun in the heart of trendy Dalston.
The Alibi, 91 Kingsland High Street, E8... 8-2am FREE ENTRY.

And finally on Friday night we shall be spinning our latest acquisitions at The New Rose.
Bonanza & Son DJ Set at The New Rose, 86 Essex Road, Angel. N1. Free Entry 9pm-2am

Peace and Love to you and your pets,
Bonanza & Son.
