The week ahead...

Howdy Folks,
We hope this message finds you well and enjoying this glorious sunshine; summer has finally arrived and Bonanza & Son have some suitably, summery events for you this week.

•First up this and every Wednesday at 4:30pm is our ResonanceFM radio show and this week we are very excited to have a live session from Canadian Alt-Country Rocker Leeroy Stagger with his full band. Stagger is on a major European tour in support of his superb new LP ’Truth Be Sold’ which we think is his finest work to date.
We will also be playing brand new tracks from Willard Grant Conspiracy, Danny & The Champions, Guy Clark, Case Hardin, Hallelujah Trails, MG Boulter and much more. Tune in on 104.4FM in London or www.resonancefm.com

•On Thursday you can test your musical knowledge at The Bonanza & Son monthly, music quiz at The Regent Pub, 201 Liverpool Road, Islington N1. Only £2 entry per team member with amazing prizes including the whole pot of course, bottles of bubbly, rounds of drinks and much more. The fun starts at 8pm.
•On Saturday Bonanza & Son will be guest DJ’s at the after-show party for 'Meet Me At The Cemetery Gates’ Festival.
The Aftershow Party takes place at The Others, 6-8 Manor Rd N16. It is free with a voluntary donation and it follows the day-time festival from 8-late. Why not make a day of it and come along to the festival in the afternoon in the beautiful surroundings of Abney Park Cemetry, resting place of political dissenters and social reformers.
The one day festival is organised by Pete Bennett and his 'Not Your Average Type Radio show' to showcase music from the East End, as well as a benefit for the Abney Park Conservation Trust, and a heads up for CORE ARTS charity.

Evening Lineup at The Others (from 8pm)
Official Burnt Toast (Ghostpoet meets Gill Scott meets Blast First artrock),
The Dublo (filthy blues RnB/gospel, stripped to the bone)
Lil Lost Lou (Raucous Skiffle from Stamford Hill)

+ Guest DJ's Bonanza & Son (ResonanceFM),

8pm till V.late

•On Sunday morning at 11am it’s the repeat of our ResonanceFM radio show (See above).
Tune in on 104.4FM in London or online at www.resonancefm.com

•And finally on Sunday evening it’s time for our monthly ‘Film Set’ at The Defectors Weld, 170 Uxbridge Road, Shepherds Bush where we play movie soundtracks and laid-back Summery, Sunday tunes as well as screening films whilst you eat your Sunday roast. A fitting end to the week.
We hope to see your smiley summery faces at one if not all of these events,
Peace, love and lots of sunscreen to you and your pets.
Bonanza & Son.
