Christmas is just around the corner and so this will be our final update of the year.
2013 has been one of the best years EVER for music as far as we are concerned and 2014 is already gearing up to be even better.

•Tomorrow's radio show (Wednesday 18th Dec) is no less exciting including a live session from Essex' finest purveyors of Americana The Delta Jacks…
Plus we have just finished editing an interview and live session we recorded yesterday evening with Richard Buckner in situ at St Pancras Old Church and it is an absolute stunner…
It very nearly didn’t happen as only hours earlier Richard was being held in a holding pen by Belgian Customs when he should have been sound-checking… But arrive he did at the last minute and what a mind-blowing live session and gig.
To celebrate this miracle at Christmas and by way of an early Christmas present to our listeners we shall broadcast an extract of this onBonanza & Son on ResonanceFM at 4:30pm in the form of a special mix. We plan to air the entire interview and live session on the first show in the New Year as tomorrow will be our final broadcast until Wednesday 8th January 2014.

A welcome return to The Lock Tavern stage for our favourite Stoke Newington Frontiersmen. The Ramshackle Union Band are a harmony driven, Americana-Folk four-piece. Rich and sumptuous vocals swirl and swoop Eagle-like around uplifting guitar, banjo, bass and drums. On their previous visit to Countrier Than Thou the bands rousing, live performance has become the stuff of legend, cementing a reputation as one of Britain’s leading purveyors of Old Time, Authentic Folk, Bues. and Rustic-Americana with a driving, Psychedelic twist.

Proponents of an unholy melange of Country, Blues, Deep-South choogling and the rawest Rock 'n’ Roll. Imagine all three Hanks; Williams Snr, Jnr and the Third finding themselves at the Alabama/Essex crossroads, having sold their souls to the Dagenham Devil and then embarking on a road movie of epic proportions then you might be getting somewhere close to where these boys hang out ie the wrong side of the tracks where the Appalachian mountains high, lonesome sound bargains with the devil at the Mississippi crossroads.
