Firstly there’s a special Bonanza & Son/Richard Buckner Mix...
We recorded an interview & live session with Richard Buckner in situ at St Pancras Old Church this past week… It very nearly didn’t happen as only hours earlier Richard was being held in a holding pen by Belgian Customs when he should have been sound-checking. But arrive he did albeit at the last minute whereupon he performed a mind-blowing live session & gig
To celebrate & document this miracle at Christmas & by way of an early Christmas present to our listeners we broadcast an extract of this in the form of a special Bonanza & Son mix. We plan to air the original interview & live session on our first show in the New Year.
What a year for music 2013 has been & we look at some of the highlights of the year with tracks by Jonny Fritz, The Men, Phosphorescent, Austin Lucas, The Deep Dark Woods + records from the Bonanza & Son Revue including Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers + lots more
Last but not least we have a barnstorming live session from Essex finest purveyors of Americana, The Delta Jacks, on the run up to their gig tonight at The Countrier Than Thou Christmas Party at The Lock Tavern. Hope to see ya there.
