Howdy Folks,

Tune in at on 104.4FM or www.resonancefm.com every Wednesday at 4:30pm (London time) The show is repeated on Sundays at 11am and posted up to Soundcloud immediately after the broadcast time today… https://soundcloud.com/resonance-fm

It is with deep sadness that Bonanza & Son have to announce yet another London, music venue bites the dust. At the end of May Filthy MacNasty’s closes its doors forevermore.

For almost three years Bonanza & Son has been proud to put on live events at one of London’s most legendary pub venues. We have hosted Battle Of The One Man Bands at our Day Of The Dead Night, shown films by internationally renowned artists at our ‘Gaslight Club’ as well as numerous book readings, Film nights and hundreds of rocking DJ sets…

It hasn’t always been an easy road; we’ve had our nights closed-down and clamped-down by the council, the police and psychotic, local residents but we definitely have some very happy memories of some truly ace gigs.

Please come and join us one last time this Thursday for Bonanza & Son’s 'Bon Voyage’ to Filthy MacNasty’s… We have live sets from both Dylan Walshe and The Kosmic Troubadour plus DJ’s til the early hours. Fun starts at 7pm and as always it is free entry.

And finally on Sunday 12th May we will be playing laid back tunes and film soundtracks at The Three Crowns on Stoke Newington Church St. from 7 till 11pm, Free Entry.

Hope to see you soon,
Bonanza & Son.

Bonanza & Son on ResonanceFM Present

Bon(anza) Voyage…
A farewell to Filthy MacNasty’s this Thursday 9th May

Live acts:
The Kosmic Troubadour:
Travel on a magic-carpet journey through space and time with the Kosmic Troubadour. This piano-playing phenomena with his songs of passion and compassion is a true outsider and maverick in the same vein as Daniel Johnstone or Wild Man Fischer.

Imagine if Frank Zappa or Todd Rundgren had come out of the working mens clubs of the North of England or the neo-Psych of early Happy Mondays on a road trip to Peter Kay's 'Phoenix Night’s' via the Hacienda.

Dylan Walshe:
It’s always a pleasure for Bonanza & Son to present Irelands favourite, rising Son… He’s on fire at the moment having recently had support slots with Josh Rouse plus an extensive tour of Ireland. Dylan Walshe’s return to the Bonanza & Son stage is always more overdue than our unreturned, technically stolen library copies of Bob Dylan’s ‘Chronicles’ and Pete Seeger’s ‘Rise-Up Singing Folk Handbook’ from Islington Libraries and Museums!..
Add that to the alchemical process and it is also a more welcome return than even Vashti Bunyan’s after her 35 year hiatus between debut and sophomore Lps… Oh and you might also just be getting our Pacific Drift! ..Bonanza & Son’s favourite, tenacious, traveling, troubadour from the Emerald Isle will not disappoint!
